Erin began her harp studies at the age of 13, after a trip to the Biltmore House in Asheville led her to an interest in the instrument. After several years of private instruction, she attended the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, where she graduated in 2003.
Erin continued her harp studies at Furman University, where she studied under Anita Burroughs-Price, principal harpist with the North Carolina Symphony. While at Furman, Erin spent a semester of study abroad at the Accademia dell’Arte in Arezzo, Italy.
Erin has been playing professionally since 2001 and has played for over 300 weddings, as well as for private parties, churches, orchestras, and many other events. Erin has also taught private harp lessons to a number of students throughout the years.
